Jennifer Hidber, M.OMSc, BSc (Kin)

Jennifer Hidber is an OSTCAN certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Science (M.OMSc). She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.

Jennifer's journey into healthcare was driven by an insatiable curiosity, a trait that was evident from her early years. Growing up in a small northern town in British Columbia, she immersed herself in sports and the natural world around her. This environment nurtured her passion for movement and led her to pursue Kinesiology. As a personal trainer, Jennifer found herself constantly questioning the intricacies of human movement and the variability in her clients' progress. Her inquiries—why some people had greater mobility while others struggled, why certain techniques worked for some but not others—pushed her to seek deeper understanding.

This relentless quest for answers brought her to Osteopathy, a field she discovered through a conversation with a practicing Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Recognizing that Osteopathy offered the holistic perspective she was seeking, Jennifer enrolled at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2020. Over the course of her four-year program, she gained a profound new understanding of human movement and its underlying principles.

Today, Jennifer's practice is fueled by the same curiosity that has driven her throughout her life. She is committed to uncovering the "why" behind her patients' conditions, using her extensive knowledge and skills to provide effective, individualized care. Jennifer’s approach is characterized by her dedication to understanding the root causes of movement dysfunction and her passion for helping her patients achieve lasting improvements in their health and mobility.
